About Me

My photo
Andrew Joslyn
Seattle, Washington, United States
I play the violin - been playing it pretty consistently since I was five years old. It is my main connection with music so I do the majority of my composing with it, and with the bands I play with such as Handful of Luvin', Macklemore, Staxx Brothers, Kris Orlowski, and Ryan Lewis. I also occasionally do side projects with friends and other fellow musicians around the Seattle area when I have free time. Besides playing music and rocking out, I draw and sketch (I wanted to go into graphic design and architecture at one point) - I also enjoy night life and going to pubs and other rock shows with friends. I was an English literary major in college, and enjoy the critical analysis of texts even though I'm really not much of a book worm. I can appreciate good writing, but I tend to lack the patience to read a lot. So in the end I see myself as a Reniassance Man - I try and dabble in all the arts, and like to be open to new forms of creativity.
